KALW Radio Tackles “Future of Foster Care” on Monday 2/21
On Monday February 21st, KALW radio in San Francisco will spend one hour discussing the current state of foster care in California and where it is going. This is how host Holly Kernan explains what the special will cover:
“What is the future of foster care in California? Many of the proposed budget cuts are to social welfare agencies, including Child Protective Services and foster care. Yet, the past five years have seen more legislation around reforming the foster system and making sure there are programs in place for transitioning youth. What is the future of foster care now?”
Please tune into KALW (91.7 FM) from 10-11 AM PST for this important, live special.
Thanks to host Holly Kernan and producer Ali Budner for making the time for this critical coverage.
